Description:
Obverse
Portrait of Queen Elizabeth II to the right.
Starting in 1998, several coins were issued with "Privy Marks," which for this particular coin included the "Chinese Lunar Calendar Privy Mark Series" among others.
The Privy Mark is a small mark to either the left or right of the maple leaf stem, primarily used as a design and marketing feature. Other than the privy mark, the rest of the coin adheres to the same specifications and details as the normal, unmarked coin.
Reverse
Maple leaf design.
Note: some coins feature Privy Marks below maple leaf.
