“Republica de Colombia” in a semicircle over the Colombian Coat of Arms:
An Andean condor facing left, with wings spread and holding an olive wreath, is perched on top of a shield. “Libertad y Orden”is on a scroll in between the bird and the shield. The national flag is draped on each side of the shield.
The shield is broken into three portions. In the lowermost portion there are two ships. The Phrygia cap is in the middle section. The topmost section contains a pomegranate flanked by two cornucopias.
