Within the pomegranate, Stars of David symbolize the values of Judaism and history of the Jewish People; letters A and B on three languages and digits 1, 2 and 3 represent the basics of every course of study; symbols of agriculture, computers, archaeology, electronic communications and science represent the areas of higher education in which Israel excels, around the left-hand border, inscription "EDUCATION IN ISRAEL" in Hebrew and English.
