Description:

Obverse

In the central part of the obversethere is an image of the emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the number "100" located under it and the inscription "TENGE" denoting the denomination of the coin. On the circumference, the protruding edge and the inscription "REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN" in English and the inscription "1/25 oz Au 999" denoting the metal from which the coin is made, its sample and mass, and the number "2004" denoting the year of coinage. The inscriptions and the number are separated by dots.

Reverse

In the center of the reverse side is a portrait of Marco Polo with a picture of a caravan and a ship going to the right of it. In the lower part of the portrait there is a stylized ribbon with the date "1254-1324" and the inscription "MARCO POLO" in English. On the circumference there is a protruding edge.
