Description:
Obverse
The obverse of the coin features the Coat of Arms of the Republic of Lithuania inside a shield against a damascened background. The duke’s crown is displayed on the right. The duke’s sceptre is displayed below the centre of the coin.
Reverse
The reverse of the coin presents the picture of the Grand Duke of Lithuania Gediminas according to the medal created by the sculptor Vytautas Kašuba, encircled with the inscription GEDIMINAS DIDYSIS LIETUVOS KUNIGAIKŠTIS (Gediminas the Grand Duke of Lithuania). The years 1316-1341 are displayed at the bottom.
