Description:
Obverse
The obverse of the coin features a stylized Coat of Arms of the Republic of Lithuania inside a shield, in the center; the inscriptions LIETUVA 2013 and 100 LITŲ are arranged in a semicircle around it, against the background of the map of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. The mintmark of the Lithuanian Mint is impressed on the obverse of the coin.
Reverse
On the reverse of the coin, a portrait of Radvila Našlaitėlis with the anniversary year of the issue of the map — 400 — next to the portrait, the inscriptions PIRMASIS LIETUVOS DIDŽIOSIOS KUNIGAIKŠTYSTĖS ŽEMĖLAPIS (THE FIRST MAP OF THE GRAND DUCHY OF LITHUANIA), MIKALOJUS KRISTUPAS RADVILA NAŠLAITĖLIS are arranged in a semicircle around the portrait in two rows, against the background of the map of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, which was drawn the first time in Lithuania.
