Description:
Obverse
Both sides of the coin depict the Lithuanian partisan struggle for freedom of Lithuania. The obverse depicts a heart with the contour of Lithuania in the middle of it, formed by tree bark ornaments, reminding of symbolic scars. The obverse of the coin features the inscription LIETUVA (LITHUANIA), denomination €50, the year of issue (2019) and the mintmark of the Lithuanian Mint.
Reverse
Both sides of the coin depict the Lithuanian partisan struggle for freedom of Lithuania. The reverse depicts trees with their branches similar to crosses – eternal monuments to the victims of the freedom movement. The reverse of the coin features the inscription LIETUVOS LAISVĖS KOVOS SĄJŪDIS (THE MOVEMENT FOR THE STRUGGLE FOR FREEDOM OF LITHUANIA) and the sign of the double cross.
