Obverse
Obverse of the coin presents an image of the St. Naum monastery and seven saints over it - St. Cyril and St. Methodius, and their 5 students: St. Naum, St. Clement, St. Sava, St. Angelarius and St. Gorazd. At the bottom of the coin, there is the name of the Republic of Macedonia in the Macedonian language. At the top - on the right hand side - the Macedonian coat of arms and on the left - denomination"1000 Denars" in Macedonian. In the middle, at the top, there is also the year of issue "2014" and in the middle left part of the coin - the hallmark "Ag925".
Reverse
Reverse of the coin presents portraits of the Saint Cyril and Saint Methodius. There are also their names in Macedonian language over the heads of the saints and an ornament along the perimeter.
