The portrait of Fedor Dostoyevsky, to the left above - a view of several churches, below - the inscription in six lines "КРАСОТА СПАСЕТ МИР" (BEAUTY WILL SAVE THE WORLD), and a fragment of Raphael's painting Sistine Madonna, under them - a pair of shackles, to the right - two dates "1821" and "1881". At the bottom - the writer's facsimile signature.
