The inscriptions along the rim framed by a circle of dots: at the top — «50 РУБЛЕЙ 1995 г.» (50 RUBLES 1995), at the bottom — «БАНК РОССИИ» (BANK OF RUSSIA).
Reverse
In the center - a lynx's head, at the top to the right - a capercailzie sitting on a bough and uttering its mating-call, below - a fir branch, the inscription at the top along the rim - "СОХРАНИМ НАШ МИР" (PROTECT OUR WORLD).
