The inscriptions along the rim framed by a circle of dots: at the top — «100 РУБЛЕЙ 1995 г.» (100 RUBLES 1995), at the bottom — «БАНК РОССИИ» (BANK OF RUSSIA)
Reverse
In the centre - the icebreaker "Krasin", to the right - a group of people and a tent on an ice-floe, below - the date "1928 г.", the inscriptions along the rim: at the top — «ИССЛЕДОВАНИЕ РУССКОЙ АРКТИКИ" (EXPLORATION OF RUSSIAN ARCTIC), at the bottom - "СПАСЕНИЕ ЭКСПЕДИЦИИ НОБИЛЕ" (THE RESCUE OF NOBILE'S EXPEDITION).
