In the center — the two-headed eagle with wings down, above — the semicircular inscription — «БАНК РОССИИ» (BANK OF RUSSIA), under the eagle — the face value «ОДИН РУБЛЬ» (ONE RUBLE) underscored by a horizontal line divided by a dot in the middle, at the bottom — the year of issue «2001», to the right — the mint trade mark.
Reverse
The picture of the Emblem of the Commonwealth of Independent States, at the bottom — a hexagon framed by leafs, on the surface of the hexagon — hidden pictures of the figure «10» and of the word «ЛЕТ» (YEARS) written to the left, which are visible by turns only on changing the angle of vision. The inscription along the rim: «СОДРУЖЕСТВО НЕЗАВИСИМЫХ ГОСУДАРСТВ» (the Commonwealth of Independent States).
