In the centre – the emblem of the Bank of Russia [the two-headed eagle with wings down, under it – the semicircular inscription "БАНК РОССИИ" (BANK OF RUSSIA)] framed by a circle of dots and inscriptions along the rim – on top: "ДВАДЦАТЬ ПЯТЬ РУБЛЕЙ" (TWENTY FIVE RUBLES), below: to the left – indications of the precious metal and its fineness, in the centre – the year of issue "2013 г." (2013), to the right – the fine metal content and the mint trade mark.
Reverse
To the left above on the mirror sector of the disc – the half-length portrait of V.I. Bazhenov with the inscription above it along the rim: "ВАСИЛИЙ ИВАНОВИЧ БАЖЕНОВ" (VASILY IVANOVICH BAZHENOV), to the right below on the second mirror sector – the relief image of the Fancy Bridge of the western entrance to Tsaritsyno, on two matted sectors – objects of the original project of the ensemble by V.I. Bazhenov: to the right above – the Big Cavalier Building, to the left below – the Blessed Virgin Church and the Hexagonal Pavilion, in the centre of the disc – the colored picture of the capital of the Ionic order.
