The allegorical "Child of the Universe" surrounded by planets and stars, holding a fire in his palms. All around is the legend "REPUBBLICA DI SAN MARINO", with two very small emblems of San Marino on either side (three hills, each with a stone tower emitting smoke). There are also the very small names of two people, presumably the coin's designers.
Reverse
A maple leaf inside a house-like outline on top of a larger maple leaf, with denomination below and mintmark/date on either site of the leaf. Around the rim are two names, presumably of the coin's designers.
