In the center – the relief image of the State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Belarus and circumferential inscriptions: at the top – РЭСПУБЛІКА БЕЛАРУСЬ (THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS), at the bottom – 1 РУБЕЛЬ (1 RUBLE); along the rim – the stylized wreath of leaves and flowers of cornflower and clover representing the inflorescence of crafts closely intertwined to form the endlessness of a circle as a symbol of longevity and happiness; on the left – the year of issue.
Reverse
In the center – the image of a straw horse against the background of a decorative stylized Belarusian landscape performed with the use of the straw application technique; at the top – a circumferential inscription: САЛОМАПЛЯЦЕННЕ (STRAW PLAITING).
