Obverse
Within the circular geometric ornament – the relief of the State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Belarus; beneath – year of issue and alloy standard; inscriptions along the rim – at the top: "РЭСПУБЛIКА БЕЛАРУСЬ" (REPUBLIC OF BELARUS), at the bottom: "ДВАЦЦАЦЬ РУБЛЁЎ" (TWENTY ROUBLES).
Reverse
In the center – the stylized effigy of the football ball with applied over it world map with stamp–printing of 3 colors: black and white – the football ball, grey – the world map, where territory of Germany is colored with black – place of holding of XVIII FIFA World Cup. There are 18 pentagons around the football ball; inscription along the rim: "2006 FIFA WORLD CUP GERMANY ™".
