Description:
Obverse
On the obverse, in the center of the coin and within a circle, the obverse of a Clounioq As is reproduced: right profile of a man with curly hair as a helmet, which could be interpreted as the protective hero of the city. To his left "II", two vertical strokes (in the Iberian alphabet "I" means: Ba). To the right of the effigy, a dolphin.
Reverse
The “Iberian rider,” an image reproduced on the reverses of coins struck by many Spanish mints in the second and first centuries BC. The horse gallops from left to right, and the rider wears a helmet and carries a spear. The legend, CLOVNIOQ, refers to the mint where the coins were struck.
