Crowned and armored bust of King Johann III facing right, holding globus cruciger and sword within circle, with legend at sides. Outside the circle, along the rim, there are 23 provincial crowned heraldic arms.
Reverse
Veiled Christ stands with blessing right arm and imperial orb in left hand. In front of him, in lower position is a four-field shield with coat of arms of Sweden and central Vasa Arms. The upper part of shield divides date at sides. Shield and figure of Christ are partially within a circle, with legend outside.
