Description:
Obverse
The design is based on the Olympic team logo of Belgium symbolizing an athlete who wears the flag of the country, celebrating victory and expressing pride in representing her country. The inner part of the coin depicts, from top to bottom, a stylized character, the five Olympic rings and the inscription "BELGIUM TEAM." To the left is the year 2016. On the right, the indication of nationality 'BE' appears between monetary brand of Brussels (helmeted head of the Archangel Michael) and the brand of "currency commissioner".
Reverse
A map, next to the facial value, shows the European continent without borders.
