Description:
Obverse
On the obverse of both coins in the center of the circle there is a conventionalized image of the Sun, on the left, on the right, above and underneath whereof – four lighted by it spheres symbolizing the seasons. On the left of the circle there is the Small National Emblem of Ukraine, on the right – the coin issue year: 2006, as well as the indication of the metal, its fineness, and the coin weight in fineness (on the silver coin – Ag 925, 15.55; on the gold coin – Au 999.9, 1.24). There are circular legends: НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ (National Bank of Ukraine) above and 5 ГРИВЕНЬ (5 hryvnias) on the silver coin ((2 ГРИВНІ) (2 hryvnias) on the gold one)) below, as well as the logotype of the National Bank of Ukraine Mint.
Reverse
On the reverse of both coins a styled image of Aries with stars around it is depicted, on the left whereof is its Sign of Zodiac; on the right there is the inscription: ОВЕН (Aries).
