Description:
Obverse
The obverse of the coin features the logo of the Bulgarian National Bank with the years ‘1879’ and ‘2004’ inscribed on the ribbon. Written in circumference is the nominal value of the coin ‘5 ЛЕВА’ (5 BGN), the year of issue ‘2004’ and the text ‘БЪЛГАРСКА НАРОДНА БАНКА’ (BULGARIAN NATIONAL BANK).
Reverse
The reverse of the coin features colored flowers in a square pattern with a vertical willow twig crossing the word ‘ЦВЕТНИЦА’ (Palm Sunday) as a symbol of the Christian cross.
