On the upper part, in the foreground, the portraits of His Holiness Pope John Paul II and of His Beatitude Teoctist, Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church; in the background, a Latin Cross; on the lower part, the Coat of Arms of the Pontif Holy Father and of the Romanian Patriarchy; the inscriptions "VIZITA S.S. PAPA IOAN PAUL II IN ROMANIA" and "7-9 MAI 1999" are engraved circularly.
