Obverse
In the centre - the emblem of the Bank of Russia [the two-headed eagle with wings down, under it - the semicircular inscription "БАНК РОССИИ" (BANK OF RUSSIA)] framed by a circle of dots and inscriptions along the rim - on top: "ТРИ РУБЛЯ" (THREE RUBLES), below: to the left - indications of the precious metal and its fineness, in the centre - the year of issue "2011 г." (2011), to the right - the fine metal content and the mint trade mark.
Reverse
On the matted segment of the disc - 12 concentric circles slightly shifted to the left from the centre, to the right below - the image of a green plant sprout, to the left at the edge - the inscription maid by the proof technique: "СБЕРБАНК" (SBERBANK); above on the mirror segment of the disc - the stylized depiction of the Globe with parallels and meridians met on the Pole, to the left at the edge - the matted inscription: "170 ЛЕТ" (170 YEARS).
