Description:
Obverse
The 50 Euros coin reproduces on its front the scene of Christopher Columbus disembarking in America at Guanahani, and taking possession of the lands in the name of the Catholic Monarchs.
Reverse
On the back is an image of Columbus. In its upper part a cameo is reproduced with the faces of the Catholic Monarchs, and, as a background, a part of the map of Central America appears in its lower part.
