On the coin obverse there are: the Small State Emblem of Ukraine (in the center), the coin issue year 2009 (thereunder), the circumferential legends Національний Банк України (National Bank of Ukraine) above and ДВІ ГРИВНІ (Two hryvnias) below together with the logotype of the National Bank of Ukraine Mint.
Reverse
On the coin reverse there are A.M. Livytskyi’s portrait and the inscriptions: АНДРІЙ ЛІВИЦЬКИЙ (Andrii Livytskyi) – above (semicircular), 1879/1954 – years of life, to the right of the portrait, and beneath (semicircular) – ПРЕЗИДЕНТ УНР В ЕКЗИЛІ (President of the UPR (Ukrainian People’s Republic) in Exile).
