In the center there is depicted the Dnieper Hydroelectric Station (DniproHES) dam whose erection some time gave an impetus to very rapid development of industry of the region.
Over it there is indicated the coin issue year 2014 with the regional symbols around the dam: airplane (motor industry), steel-teeming ladle (metallurgy of ferrous metals), sunflower and wheatears (agriculture) as well as the atom for peace emblem (nuclear-power engineering)
