Bears the Small Coat of Arms of Ukraine (above) with the semicircular inscriptions НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ (National Bank of Ukraine) above and П`ЯТЬ ГРИВЕНЬ (five hryvnias) beneath and the coin issue year indication 2014 under the coat of arms; to the right there is the mark of the National Bank of Ukraine Mint; in the center there is a gate of the Kherson fortress, one of the oldest structures of the city of Kherson; to the right there is depicted the Adziogol Lighthouse built according to design of Vladimir Shukhov, an engineer and scholar; over the gate there is depicted a vessel as a symbol of the port and shipbuilding; to the left - three dolphins, below - gifts of the Kherson Oblast fields: water melon, tomato, grape, wheatears
